导语：我想问的是，Satoshi究竟是一个人还是一个组织或一 个团队？

Martti：My impression was always that Satoshi was one person. At least I was communicating with one person of the team. But the way of his working and development gives no reason to believe it was a team.

 我印象里一直觉得他是单独一个人。或者至少我交流的对象是团队中的一个人。他工作和发展的方式绝不像是一个团队。

导语：据我所知，你跟Satoshi通过邮件已经交谈了数百次，那么你是怎么看他这个人的呢？可以描述一下他是什么样的人吗？

Martti：I think he is a person who keeps to himself. He is very intelligent, very philosophical and resourceful a person who is not interested in ego-inflation or personal issues. So he is a very wise person in my perspective. I guess that is what Satoshi in similar to Japanese.

我认为他是一个坚持自我的人。他非常聪明，非常冷静，足智多谋，他不屑于吹嘘自己。所以在我看来他是个十分睿智的人。

Sometimes I get this question: is Satoshi a real person? What is the opposite of that? How would he not be a real person? Maybe they mean that whether Satoshi is a group of people or not but of course it's a pseudo name. I don't think it's the guy named Satoshi Dorian Nakamoto. And I don't think he is a group of people either.

有时有人问我：Satoshi是真人么，或者说，他怎么可能不是真人呢?可能他们觉得他是个组织，但这只是个假名而已。我不觉得有个人叫作Satoshi Dorian Nakamoto。我也不觉得他是一群人。

导语：据我所知，你和Satoshi通过邮件交谈过多次，你谈到他给你发过微笑的表情。你有没有觉得他是个有血有肉有真情实感的活生生的人？

Martti：I don't think it means so much to me at that point in retrospective. Of course it's interesting, he has used a smiling. Or maybe it might be one of his forum posts where he has smiling. You can look it up on the bitcoin talks Satoshi posts. Maybe there are…

回想起来，我当时没想那么多。不过他发微笑这件事确实很有趣。但也可能他在论坛推文上也有发过。你可以看看他在比特币对话论坛上的推文。

I believe his all bitcoin had already gone far enough, so there were tons of other developers working on it and ticketed up for to move on to work on something else while knowing that bitcoin will be carried on by others and maybe he didn’t want any further risk about his identity would be rebuilt. And I don't think he is coming back. I am goodX that it has surprised them a lot by obvious attention and friendly reception. I'm getting here inside, not to elsewhere, actually. No I haven't seen Satoshi ever, we just exchanged emails. I don't think anyone else has seen him either. Not really.

我觉得他的比特币已经发展了很久了，所以很多做这个项目的其他开发者都转而去开发别的东西了，他们知道又会有其他人来接手比特币。也许中本聪不想继续冒险，他担心自己的身份会被重构。比特币出人意料地引人瞩目，大受欢迎。我从没见过中本聪，只是有邮件往来。我想谁都没见过他。

 Yeah I always recognize bitcoin's potential in DRA. I guess I never had a life experience to tell me that those great theories can actually come true. And I imagined if bitcoin came up one successfully to take years as it had taken, why now?

我一直认为比特币在DRA中是富有潜力的。我觉得生活中从没有一次经历让我觉得那些伟大的理论能够成为现实。我会想，比特币花了好些年才大获成功，那为什么会是在现在而不是更早或更晚呢？

导语：我想问，为什么中本聪要隐藏自己？

Martti：I guess he is more interested in ideas and philosophies. Maybe making the world better other than getting fame. Also maybe recognize the possible risks involved, like the harassment that Dorian Nakamoto, and how X, who was suspected of being Satoshi, have received until he wanted to avoid that, as well as illegal trouble that some other alternative currency operators have gotten into. Actually I am not familiar with the core team these days but traditionally it's been merry to currency open source projects, look like not. So the ones who make the best contributions have the most say.

我猜他是对理论本身更感兴趣。可能他是单纯地想让世界更美好，而不只是为了出名。又或许他预料到了潜在的风险，像是对Dorian的骚扰，又如对疑似Satoshi的X不堪忍受的侵扰。此外还有一些其他代币运作人面临的非法问题。我对现在的核心团队不太了解，但是传统来说它就是个公开的代币源项目。贡献最大的人最有话语权。

导语：如果中本聪归来，他能否影响或改变比特币社群的现实情况呢？

Martti: Well I don't think he is gonna be coming back anytime soon. And I don't think the community of any single one cryptocurrency is that important. I think technology is important. I think it's important that we have competing alternatives, and the best solutions will win out in the market regardless of some personal issues or politics that people have.

我觉得短期内他不会再回来了。同时我认为某一单个加密货币社群并没有那么重要。我觉得科技才是重要的。此外很重要的一点就是要有极具竞争性的同类产品，而最好的解决办法只能出现在没有私人问题或政治因素的市场里。

导语：下一个问题与比特币矿池中心化有关。情况已江河日下。对此你怎么看？

Martti：I think it’s unfortunate about the centralization that bitcoin has underwent. But at the same time we have competing currencies, so bitcoin is not the only one there. Another cryptocurrency will carry on its flag if it is to fail. And of course it would be great to see more decentralization again. But we can’t hope that the bigger players don’t have the incentives to ruin the whole system by cheating.

我认为比特币目前经受的中心化过程是件不幸的事。但同时我们也有其他富有竞争性的货币，所以比特币心不是唯一的。如果比特币湮灭了，另一种货币会取而代之。如果能重新看到去中心化自然是再好不过了。但是我们要清楚，那些巨头们很有可能通过欺骗来毁灭现有的系统。
