华楠：这节课，Martti Malmi 会说一说他对EOS的看法。

Martti ：So I am not super familiar with EOS. The consensus mechanism is interesting, but untested yet. And I was a bit concerned about what you call public coins in China for some reason. Because they have a ton of complexity and complexity is always unpredictable and you can have all kinds of problem like XX did with DAO, even though XX was well tested. You can always run into unexpected things and it remains to be seen how decentralized consensus mechanism manages to be… Of course there can be different levels of decentralization for different purposes on their tradeoffs or ways.

我不是很了解EOS。共识机制很有趣，但尚未得到验证。我对于你们所说的公开币有些担忧。因为它们很复杂，而复杂性永远是不可预测的。可能就像DAO做XX一样，你们也会遇到各种问题，XX还是经过验证了的。你们总会遇到意料之外的事，而且共识机制能有多去中心化也有待观察。当然了，在交易中，出于不同的目的一定会有不同级别的去中心化。

导语：很多人都知道EOS体现一种中心化的新趋势，如DPOS，是作用于整个系统的超级代表。那么你怎么看DPOS呢？这种新的中心化趋势？

Martti ：It might be that DPOS is a more decentralized EOS, but remains to be seen. I have my intuitive worries about it. So I won't personally invest in EOS, but they will make their own choices. I am interested in seeing how it goes.

DPOS可能是一种更去中心化的EOS，但这还有待观察。我直觉上对此有些担心。所以我不会投资EOS，但别人可以自由选择。我对其走向很感兴趣。

导语：关于EOS这个项目已经一年了，这一年内汇集了约300亿美元的资金，所以有很多人就说这是个骗局，你怎么看？

Martti ：As long as they are straight forward and honest about what they are doing and transparent, I guess it's nothing wrong. But I'm not familiar with the EOS project or its team to speculate on that. Maybe I don't want to be pulling projects scans with little knowledge. But of course unfortunately a common pattern that these ICOs just raise a ton of capital and nothing ever gets done.

只要他们光明正大，透明公开，我觉得就没什么问题。不过不管是EOS项目还是它的核心团队我都没什么了解，我想还是不妄议为好。但是这些ICO只筹集了资金，别的什么也没做，这是很悲哀的。

Well lightning network is promising. Of course there is a problem not used to lit to open the channels on the lightning network. But I don't think that reason is enough to radically change the underlying infrastructure of bitcoin. Maybe we should first see how the lightning network place out and then look out what actions to take or not to take.

闪电网络前途很光明。当然也存在问题，它难以打开一些频道。但我觉得这不足以极大地改变比特币深层的基础设施。也许我们应该再观察一下，再做行动。
